HOREC Education
HOREC has 26 girls and 9 boys making a total of 35 children. Four girls are in High school, one in college and the rest in a private primary school.
Pre-school
To integrate HOREC children with those in the community, a class was constructed that doubles as the pre-unit and nursery class. The class has a total of 16 children, 11 from the community and the rest from HOREC.
Library
Education forms a key pillar in the lives of the children under HOREC care. In the quest to ensure that the children perform well, HOREC through the financial support of the First United Methodist Church constructed a library-that also serves as the computer lab-and a volunteer from America, Joyce Genord donated chairs and shelves for books.
The children use the library for their studies every day.
